Hello Team Captains and thank you so much for participating in our 9th Annual Walk for Children with Apraxia on Oct 14th. We are looking forward to a fun filled day! Special thanks to our generous sponsors, Midwestern University, Pediaprogress, and Kaufman Children's Center and of course our volunteers who make the walk possible.
Please plan to pick up t-shirts for your team members next Thursday, October 12th from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Ty Warner Park pavilion. This really helps us keep the lines short and helps things to run smoothly on walk day. If you can't make this time but would like to make other arrangements to pick up your team's t-shirts, please let us know.
More reminders will be sent next week, but in the meantime, please keep spreading the word about the walk. You can still register and we will do our best to make sure everyone has a t-shirt.
We are so thrilled that Midwestern University will once again offer Let's Talk Summer Camp! This year there will again be 2 camps - both offered for ages 5 -7 years old. We hope our families can take advantage of this awesome opportunity. Once you are accepted, The Apraxia Connection will offer partial grants to offset the cost of the camp. (Grant information will be sent to you from the Speech and Language Institute.) See link below for more information.
